Paddle as You Watch the Ponies Swim in Chincoteague Island, VA!
No experience necessary, we give a quick lesson before we take off and it is a short 10 mins paddle to the Swim. Life jackets are provided. We come back right after the Swim is over so you can still go to see the ponies walking down the streets to the carnival grounds. We have our own private kayak ramp which makes it super convenient and stress free.

Our Pony Swim Kayak Tour takes off from Snug Harbor Marina at 7536 East Side Road Chincoteague Island which is conveniently located right across the channel from Assateague Island and the Wildlife Refuge, only 10 minute paddle to the actual Pony Swim location!

You are welcome to bring your own PDF if you wish but if you don’t have it we will provide it. Duration of the Pony Swim Kayak Tour depends on the Swim itself, in general it is about 1hr but we do ask for you to be here way earlier to register, get outfitted with PDF, go through the instructions etc. Please contact us a day before the Pony Swim to confirm the time of meeting.
